IndQA measures knowledge and reasoning across everyday Indian life — spanning 2,278 questions, 12 languages, and 10 cultural domains, created in partnership with 261 domain experts across India. Unlike existing benchmarks, IndQA is designed to probe culturally nuanced, reasoning-heavy tasks that existing evaluations struggle to capture.
This reflects our commitment to making AI more useful and accessible globally, and we hope IndQA informs and inspires further benchmark work in the research community.
